Director
Čolek is a young man who finds himself caught up in the chaos of today's world and his own thoughts, searching for answers on how to live in a world overwhelmed by climate crisis, economic pressures, housing shortages, and generational prejudices. Through Čolek's journey between the real world, his own mind, and bizarre situations, the frustrations, anxieties, and desires of a generation often labeled as lazy and oversensitive are revealed.
It is certain that the world has gone mad; the only question that remains is how to live and survive in such a world.
A rap musical by DF students based on songs from the album of the same name by the Shizzle Orchestra.

The doomsday clock shows 90 seconds to midnight. Time to start packing your bags. But how do you prepare yourself for the end if you hate saying goodbye and the flame of your hope still hasn’t gone out? Escapism, rebooting society, freeing the spirit from the body, searching for planet B – there are many dealing strategies, but which will be the one of yours? Are those shards of a shattering world or just a kaleidoscope of life?
An immersive production written and directed by the youngest theatre generation, which has given up on alarmist cries in favor of finding ways to survive.
The production is the result of a two-year workshop held in the frame of the international network Fabulamundi – Playwrighting Europe. Six playwrights together with three directors present their original vision of the preparations for the end of the world and allow the audience to experience them firsthand. The voices of the young generation show that the future may bring greater threats than inclusive language and pronouns.
The production is a co-production with the Theater World Brno festival and co-founder by programe Creative Europe.

In the beginning there was a first folio and a portrait. The Portrait of Droeshout. And more? The Shakespeare phenomenon. It's late at night. William Shakespeare dips his pen in ink and begins to write another of his plays by candlelight. Maybe Hamlet? This is how it had to happen. Or not? Maybe he wasn't sitting at a table, but by the Thames or in someone's garden... And what if he was in Stratford all that time and the work attributed to him was created by others? Perhaps Edward de Vere? Queen? Or a swan?

"I'm sorry. I'm fucking sorry!” Two brothers and one endless cycle of cynicism and violence. How to forgive years of abuse? How to save souls? And is showing remorse enough? Coleman and Valene are not looking for answers to these questions. They don't care. Actually, they don't care about anything but liquor, stove, holy figurines and chips. Redemption is far away! Or…? "And what's so bad about arguments anyway? I like a good argument. It shows what you care about.”

All that is mine I carry with me. Something in my backpack or in my pocket. Something I carry in my head. And then there are the things that I don't even know I'm carrying. "This is Volhynia! A place of promise, full of water and bread." I've got a bit of mountains, meadows and even a city inside me from my ancestors. I don't know if it's home, but it's mine. Somehow.

The best thing would be if you could just be completely normal. The opposite of normal is strange, and strangeness is a terrible fate. How many traumas you have, that many times you are huaman. But can one be freed from them? Will death help or is it uninfluential for some wounds? A drama about the struggle for one's own adulthood based on the text by Saara Turunen.

WATER OF SURFACE: Rusalka
Are we defined by what they dress us in, or do we have the right to be the seamstress of our own destiny?
When the freedom of one ends where the freedom of another begins, how is it possible that they rub against your skin? Daniela Špinar, in her first independent project since the end of her era at the National Theatre in Prague, presents a reimagining of the famous opera about swamps, in which it is easy to get lost even without fairy-tale mazes. Sometimes it’s hard to accept who I am, sometimes it’s hard to accept who others want to be seen as.
Rusalka, Prince, Countess – and the Witch. Adapted by Daniela Špinar and with music by SOPHIE, the archetypal story turns into a disturbing drama of human identity.
